Client’s Rights
As our client you have the rights to:
- Be treated fairly regardless of your colour, age, religion, gender, sexual orientation, country origin, capacity to pay, or illness.
- Be treated with decency, fairness, and respect, and get careful and courteous treatment from qualified workers in a safe atmosphere.
- Learn about the cause(s) of your infertility and the treatment options relevant to you.
- Choose which (if any) treatments you will consider, as long as they are appropriate with the Center’s standard of care and standards.
- Decide how you intend to use your eggs, sperm, and embryos.
- You will be given thorough and up-to-date information on your diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis in your intelligible language.
- You can change or withdraw your consent to treatment at any time.
- Request answers to queries that are within the scope of scientific or medical expertise.
- Participate in the process of obtaining informed consent for all treatments and procedures (with the exception of emergency medical care). You have the right to change or withdraw your consent to treatment at any time.
- To obtain relevant, up-to-date, and clear information on their medications and treatment.
- The right to privacy during examinations, procedures, clinical care/treatment, and the right to know who is in attendance and why they are there.
- If you are not happy with the care or opinion provided, you have the right to seek a second opinion or have your care moved to another doctor.
- After treatment, you should expect to get comprehensive and acceptable written instructions, as well as reasonable continuity of care.
- You have the right to get a copy of your medical report and medical information.
- All clinical and pharmaceutical records must be maintained fully current and relevant, information must be thoroughly recorded, and personal information and records must be kept completely secret and protected from loss and misuse.
- Have the ability to address your problems and obtain an appropriate answer.
Client’s Responsibilities
As our client you have the responsibility to:
- Make absolutely sure you understand your planned treatment, its success rate, and the risks associated.
- Cooperate with the physician and follow any advice given to you by the Center’s professionals.
- If you don’t understand instructions or information, ask inquiries (do not guess).
- Give your doctor an accurate and detailed history of your illnesses, hospitalizations, medicines, and any health-related issues.
- Report any adverse reactions, unusual symptoms, or incidents.
- Give medicines and injections as directed, and dispose of needles and syringes safely.
- Shown respect, compassion, and dignity to all Center workers.
- Keep planned appointments or offer early notice if you need to cancel one.
- When an appointment is delayed, remain patient and bear in mind that an emergency may be happening.
- If you choose not to follow the Center’s instructions, treatment plan, and suggestions, you must accept responsibility for your own actions.
- Keep your financial responsibilities to the office up to date.
