I am a fertility physician, practicing reproductive medicine for over 18 years. After graduating from Medical College, Calcutta, (somehow could never get around to calling it Kolkata), I was trained in IVF from Herzliya Medical Centre, Israel.

Working with couples struggling with fertility issues taught me so much indeed. I stopped thinking like the Gynecologist that I was trained to be and started thinking like the fertility physician that I chose to be.

Life went on. Many patients went on to become friends. Some returned with smiles, others were not so lucky. I moved on to setup another clinic for another corporate in the same city. Bad decisions happened on many fronts. But one good outcome: our patients followed us. So, we must have been doing something right.

I gradually realized that so many things go into treating a couple. It is not just about medications and procedures, it’s also about giving time to the couple, listening and talking to them, not really telling them, preparing them mentally and physically for the treatment cycle and of course adequately guiding them regarding the amount of financial readiness that they need to get into.

I am an accomplished business leader with a strong background in insurance, healthcare, and industries. I am an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode. 

With over 15 years of experience, I bring in my expertise in team leadership, operations management, and strategic planning to head this venture. I’ve been dealing with cases of infertility for more than a decade as a qualified fertility counsellor. I’m here to support you while you go through this extensive infertility treatment process, which often results in significant emotional challenges, despair, and sometimes desperation.

I have completed my master’s degree in Psychology, and pursued my post-graduation in Fertility Counseling from USA. I have certifications in Family and Couple Therapy, Diploma in Psychological Counseling and Certification in Psychotherapy. Also, I am a fellow member of American Society for Reproductive Medicine and Mental Health Professional Group.

I will support you as you navigate the diagnostic procedures and medical care that come with parenthood. Together, we will strive to manage the psychological and emotional side effects of this course of treatment and potential future treatment alternatives.
