For over two decades, Dr. Rohit Gutgutia has practised at the frontier of reproductive medicine, the discipline that, in his words, recognises how fragile conception can be where general gynaecology tends to assume it. A graduate of Medical College, Calcutta, he trained in advanced IVF in Israel in 2005 (Herzliya Medical Centre), then helped build fertility care in eastern India: clinical director at AMRI Medical Centre, part of the team that established Genome, The Fertility Centre, and today Medical Director & IVF Specialist at Nova IVF Fertility, Kolkata.
